No Summer Camps & Library Closed at WE
Due to construction and other building improvements, we will not have summer enrichment camps in our elementary. Our library will be closed too but Cole, Lisbon and other area libraries are open with fun activities besides checking out books! Thank you for understanding.
WE Office to Close June 12, Open August 5
The elementary office will be open through June 12 with varying hours. Please call at 319-895-6251 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. prior to a visit to the building. The office will reopen August 5.
Report Cards with Past Due Notices Mailed Next Week
Report cards along with past due library book and negative lunch balance notices will be sent home next week. To pay lunch dues, please click here on InTouch to pay online or stop in the office by June 12. After June 12, you may visit the district office between 8-3 to take care of accounts.
All School Registration Day is August 8
Registration packets will be mailed out at the end of July. Registration is a yearly task just like paying taxes. All new and returning students are to be eRegistered in PowerSchool to update information, give permissions, and signup for the alert system. If you don't have access to a computer, please stop by the high school commons on August 8, between 4:30-6:30 PM, to complete registration. If you have any questions, please contact the district office at 319-895-8845.
WETAP Pool Party & Snack Bar is August 17
WETAP has rented the Davis Park pool out for WE families on August 17, 5:30-7:30 PM. A snack bar is open at 5:00 PM. Please sign up to provide refreshments by clicking here on snack bar.

Is Your Child New to the District? Sign-Up Your Child for 2019-2020
Please contact the Washington Elementary office at 319-895-6251 or email@example.com if you are new to the district with child(ren) to enroll into 4-year-old preschool through 4th grades. Note: By September 15, 2019, your child must be four years old to enter the preschool program or five years old to enter kindergarten.

If your family plans to move or transfer out of this school district, please contact the appropriate school office at your earliest convenience. Knowing your intentions will help us plan class lists and staffing needs.
