Washington Elementary is a great place to be!
Students experience a great start to their education with caring and knowledgeable staff at Washington Elementary. Students have access to many opportunities to grow through activities outside of the classroom. Washington Elementary offers Chorus Club, Drumming Club, Archery, Book Club and many other events to expand students’ educational experience. Students are being taught “The Mustang Way” through Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS).
Kids Club is a child care program for preschool through 8th grade students. Kids Club is available from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM with all care provided at the elementary school. The program operates year round including most of the scheduled school breaks and in-service days. Delays or cancellations of the program are reported along with the school district reporting. Enrollment forms for this program must be completed and returned before the first day of the child's attendance.
WETAP is Washington Elementary’s parent organization. WETAP supports classroom projects, rewards, presentations, and field trips. All parents, future parents and guardians of Washington Elementary students, as well as teachers and staff of the Washington Elementary School, are members of WETAP.
